Chart Axes Chapter

The chapter on Chart Axes was big!

So, as you might have guessed, a chart has 2 axes:

  1. X-axis

  2. Y-axis

On each axis, there are 3 different axis "marks". (A "mark" is a term Charts uses to represent views drawn.)

  1. Grid Lines

  2. Value Labels

  3. Ticks

Here's a little refresher on where those marks are:

This chapter goes into all 3 of these marks and how you can customize, position, and format them.

For example, did you know you can conditionally format your axis value labels?

Last 3 Chapters and Next Steps

I'll be working on the remaining 3 chapters next weekend, but I'm not sure how much I'll get done as I will also be doing some traveling.

So we'll see how it goes!

🔲 Chart Interactions

I also have some beta reader feedback I need to go through and make updates to the book.

One good thing Apple did include is an Apple Intelligence proofreading tool that has cut down on grammatical feedback errors.

Great time-saver!

How to get on the Waitlist

I made it very simple, you can either:

  1. Go to bigmountainstudio.com, and it's on the front page (scroll down a little). It's there temporarily.

  2. Or go to this dedicated page for charts.
